Introduction to Umpiring - could you help?

Posted by Jo Whatley on 30 September 2019

The course consists of an hour in the classroom followed by practical training/coaching whilst umpiring games during the afternoon.

This course is ideal for youngsters aged 13-17 years who are interested in starting to umpire and also for those parents who spend time on the side lines watching their children playing who would like to be more involved. Learning to umpire and then umpiring games is also excellent way to complete the 'Skills' section of the Duke of Edinburgh Award.

Clifton Robinsons is always looking for umpires to help umpire games, so this is your chance to help your club!

To book your place, please register through England Hockey via the link below:

Deadline 12th October 2019. England Hockey will then send you a link to complete the online rules test prior to the course.
