For 2019 – 2020 Avon Junior Hockey Association is seeking to appoint a number
of Coaches and Managers to work at its Development Centres and Academy

England Hockey Player Pathway.
For 2019-2020 there will be Development Centres at U14 age group. These will run
in May and June with a competition for selection to Academy Centres for the U14
age group in June. U15 girls and boys also have a Development Centre in April to
May with 3 sessions.
For U16 and U17 nominated players will be invited to attend a trial. Date to be
confirmed. From this trial 25-30 players, including Goal keepers will be selected to
attend Academy Centres from September/October to March/April 2020.
Development Centre and Academy Centre coaches will be needed to cover the
Bristol and Bath (Only at U14 age group and U15 Girls and boys age group) areas.
