Ju Rayden Coach

We are delighted to announce our new Head Coach for 2019/20 for our Ladies 1st team will be Juliet Rayden.

Many of us already know her, from her work across the club both on and off the pitch.

Juliet replaces Steve Rixon, who has handed over the reigns, to take on a new role as Director of Performance at the Club.

Having played U21 international hockey, national league hockey for 18 years and been assistant coach to the 1st team for 8 years, Juliet has a vast amount of knowledge and experience to bring to the role.

Clifton Robinson’s Ladies 1st team have enjoyed considerable success over the years. Their latest success – as winners of the prestigios Investec England Tier 1 Hockey Cup at Lee Valley in May – is a testament to the team’s hard work and dedication, and the outstanding coaching at the club.

When asked about her plans for the role/team she commented: “‘I am delighted to be appointed as the Head Coach of the Ladies 1st team at Clifton Robinsons. It is a very exciting role and I am looking forward to working with the players and building on the achievements of the last few years.”

Steve Rixon, Clifton Robinson’s Director of Performance says : “I wish Juliet all the best in her new role and we all look forward to being part of this exciting new era. She has lots of ideas and is keen to get started.”
