The women’s 3s started strong against Cheltenham, with lots of attacking play and converting an early short corner. They then scored again to make it 2-0 at half time, with passing play from the back to Katie at the top of the D who first time slapped it into the corner. In the second half the team showed some excellent defensive play, stopping several short corners and keeping calm at the back. Cheltenham eventually managed to get a goal, but couldn’t break through the defence again, leaving the final score as 2-1 to Clifton.
