The Clifton Robinsons Ladies were excited to start the second half of the Women’s Premier Division at home against Surbiton.

The whistle blew and Clifton were on the front foot, pressing aggressively and building momentum in possession of the ball. However, in a short spell that went against their way, the home side conceded three goals putting them behind in the first quarter.

After this spell, Clifton continued to put pressure on the away side and after a tight couple of quarters, Livvy Hoskins converted from a ball across the D, making the score 3-1.

The match continued to be tight, with both sides having their chances in the D, but no more goals were scored and the game finished 3-1 to Surbiton.

We are playing Hampstead and Westminster away next week.
