20/11/21: West Wilts 0 – 10 CRHC

The 2s boys were off to Warminster to face West Wilts. Russ decided to detour through London the night before and Rousey still hasn’t worked out how to sort out his leaky bowels. We were in for an absolute ripper. The boys started the scoring affair with Will wandering off from centre-back and scoring from close range. The score quickly became 3-0 before Jules got on the scoresheet with a dragflick. After the break, Tony …

The CRHC L2s, riding high on belief from their win the week before, came out onto the pitch fighting in their last match before the season break. The majority of the play in the first quarter was in Clifton’s attacking half, with the team applying great pressure, creating chances and putting Witney’s defence through its paces. The quarter ended with no score, but the strong start gave every hope of a Clifton win. As the …

After a long journey up to Nottingham, the Clifton Robinsons Ladies 1st team stepped onto the pitch hungry for their 4th consecutive win this season against Beeston. The game started off with both teams having their fair share of possession but Beeston managed to score first after a huge aerial and some good skills in the D. Shortly after that another goal was converted by the home side putting them 2-0 up within the opening …

With the first half of the season nearing its end, our Ladies’ 2s took on University of Bristol in a battle of the bottom of the table – with both teams looking for their first win of the season. A tightly contested first quarter saw heavy pressure from the university women and the Clifton side struggle to get the ball through the uni’s midfield. A chink of light in the 13th minute, and Clifton won …

The scene was set for a big Friday night clash between Clifton Robinsons Mens 1’s and Cheltenham Hockey Club.
