Phase 2 of the season started with  Clifton taking 13 points forward from Phase 1 into the Bottom 6 Play offs First up was ISCA, wjhom Clifton beat 2-0 in the first game of Phase 1 and repeated the win in a pre Phase 2 pre friendly 1-0. clifton got off to the very best of starts with Livvy Hoskins deflecting in a goal from great work by Phoebe Richards on the left. Isca equalised shortly after when ex Clifton player and 2024 CRHC Indoor champion Vicky McCabe scored from a PC. Only a minute later and Holly Munro restored the lead with low PC rafled into the left corner of ISCA’s goal. In the 25th minute another PC was converted by Amy Buton to give Clifton a 3-1 Half time lead and dominating the game. After the break ISCA came out and gradually applied more pressure to the Clifton goal and started to have more possession. After 51 minutes they cut the lead to 3-2 when England U21 player Georgie Gardens scored from a PC. Despite further Isca pressure Clifton managed the last phase of the game well to run out narrow 3-2 winners. This was a good performance as 4 players were late wothdrawals from the side due to injury and illness. Special thanks go to Maria Jones who stepped up to the first team to help secure the win.
