After a 3- win at Beeston earlier in the season, Clifton hosted a team that they had many close battles with in recent years. Beeston started the better and dominated Quarter 1, with Cerys Miller scoring a field goal after 13 minutes: 1-0 at Q1 break. Clifton R then possibly had their best quarter of the season thus far, scoring 3 goals to lead 3-1 at half time. Goals from Holly Munro PC 19′, Livvy Hoskins Field goal after 25′ and Izzy webb’s Field goal 29′ giving Clifton a commanding lead. After the break Beeston fought back, pressing the Clifton defence and causing some problems. This allowed Rosy Stephens to score in the 47′ FG and make the l;ast quarter a nervous affair. Clifton R managed quarter 4 well and shut the game out for two wins out of two in the bottom 6 playoffs, putting them on 19 points, one less than Wimbledon and in 8th place. Monica Watkins made her Premier League debut.
