Welcome to the final W1 home game of the season. After an enthralling victory last week, the Blues are in pole position for a place at finals weekend for the first time in many years. Welcome to another M1s home game! We are into the end of the season now, with most teams having 4 games left – the M1 being lucky enough to have 3 at home. A busy weekend with 6 (SIX!!) of our teams having double headers kicks off with the W1 hosting Premier Division table toppers Surbiton. A gutsy defensive performance over the last couple of weeks has been just shy of a few goals otherwise wins would have come. In what is a slip week for many of the sides, we have a home double header for our National League sides! On Saturday, the W1 host high-flying Wimbledon in England Hockey’s ‘Game of the Day’. After a 2-2 draw away to Hampstead & Westminster last week, they’ll be hoping to provide a tough test for the visitors. On Sunday, the M1 welcome Fareham. They’ll be hoping to emulate the crunching 7-1 win last time …
